Desmond Albert is a well-established Case Manager for our firm, and we find him to be articulate and adept in his abilities. He comes with a vast amount of prior case management experience and it shows as he moves through his day with ease. His role involves serving as a communication medium between necessary parties and carefully orchestrating the complexities of our firm’s sometimes heavy case flow. Our clients readily appreciate his ability to stay organized and cheerful. There is so much more to Desmond than meets the eye, he is a brilliant combination of an everyday geek with a hefty dose of superior intellect.

If you sit down with him, you may discover he is not only funny and charming, but he isn’t afraid to stand away from the crowd. One of the many things that sets him square apart from others is that he doesn’t like Apple products – that’s right, he is dedicated to the android camp and a non-Starbucks connoisseur. In fact, he has zero vices – except shrimp. What this translates to is a person who marches to the beat of his own drum, and we could not be more excited to have him circulating among our diverse culture of professionals.

He calls Chicago home and earned his B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science from the highly-esteemed Christian college, Olivet Nazarene University. He self-describes himself as a comic book geek and okay with keeping things simple. His future aspirations include completing his journey to becoming an attorney and admits plainly, “A judge appointment would be okay with me.”

Not straying from traditional family values, he holds his parents in a dear place and enjoys meaningful conversations paired with a relatively simple existence. In his time away from work and studies, you may see him dressed down and watching his favorite movie, The Core. Unlike many Chicago natives, he isn’t a Bear’s Fan or any other sports per se but loves taking visitors to see other Chicago mainstays such as the Field Museum and Millennium Park.

Desmond isn’t a fan of suits and ties, but rather a shield – that’s right he holds true to a shameless admiration for his favorite comic book hero, Captain America. We think this should make for an interesting day in court when the time comes – something to look forward to!
