Alicia is our bookkeeper, which means she keeps our finances in tip top shape. She earned her associate’s degree in 2021 from Harold Washington College and is nearly finished with her bachelor’s from Depaul. Once finished, she will stay on at Depaul to commence her MSA. She’s always loved math, so working in accounting is a perfect fit for her.
Alicia was born and raised on the south side of Chicago and has very strong opinions on the best pizza in the city. Just for the record: thin crust always comes out on top. Deep dish isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, but she’s keen to travel to Italy to see what the pizza is like there. Overall, Alicia is a total foodie and loves to try new places around Chicago, but her go-to favorite is Harold’s Chicken.
Alicia and her fiancè have two children, a boy and girl, and have recently adopted a rescue cat. Saturn is 8 months old and Alicia’s first-ever pet. When she’s not working hard on her degree, she loves going shopping with her children and volunteering with her sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated. She cherishes the opportunity to give back to her community.
She’s also a huge reality TV fan and can be found glued to the screen taking in the likes of Shark Tank, Wild “N Out, Bar Rescue, and especially Ru Paul’s Drag Race. Alicia’s favorite queen of all time is season 12’s Miss Congeniality, Heidi N Closet.
