$300,000 Settlement for Illinois Slip and Fall Case
Gary Burger of Burger Law was featured in the publication Missouri Lawyers Weekly for an Illinois personal injury
case.
In the case, a 73-year-old woman slipped on the icy concrete twice on the same property within 48 hours. The slips
caused her to hit her head on the concrete, leading to significant medical problems and loss of functioning.
The apartment complex did not have the ice and snow properly cleared from the common walking areas where the
plaintiff fell. Gary Burger represented the plaintiff along with another lawyer, Amanda Hayden.
