Rudy brings over a decade of dedicated legal service to the practice of personal injury law, with a steadfast commitment to advocating for individuals in Indiana who have been harmed through no fault of their own. His legal career began at the remarkably young age of 21, when he entered the field while still completing his undergraduate studies at Butler University. This early start afforded him the unique opportunity to gain extensive, hands-on experience across various roles within the legal system.
He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University Law School, graduating with honors in 2015. Rudy is licensed to practice in all state courts in both Indiana and Michigan, and is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
Since his admission to the bar, Rudy has successfully led numerous cases to jury verdicts. Known for his tireless advocacy and principled approach, he works with unwavering resolve to ensure his clients receive the full and fair compensation they are entitled to. His passion for justice, paired with his deep-rooted experience, makes him a formidable opponent for insurance companies and a compassionate advocate for those he represents.
Outside of work, Rudy, his wife Katie, and their rescue dog Murphy enjoy spending a lot of time together, especially on their family walks. Rudy, Katie, and Murphy also spend a great deal of time by Lake Michigan with family and friends in the summers. Soaking in the sun, swimming in the lake, and spending time in nature provides peace and mental clarity. As avid sports fans, the Longmans regularly attend Butler basketball games.
They also support the Colts, Pacers, Cincinnati Reds, and Arsenal F.C. Rudy likes to golf in his spare time, particularly at his favorite (and very challenging) course, Harbor Shores in St. Joseph, Michigan.
Married since 2018, Rudy and Katie enjoy traveling and finding fun restaurants wherever they can. The Longmans are currently involved in the adoption process and cannot wait to grow their loving family in the future.
There are other players who were more talented, but there is no one who could out-prepare me.
