The South Side has always been central to who we are. Since founding the firm in 1999, Michael built both his practice and his family here, becoming part of the community we serve. Our participation in the South Side Irish Parade reflects that connection and our continued commitment to the neighborhoods that shaped us.
Supporting our communities means supporting students and young adults. Through our Cyberbullying Awareness Scholarship, we award $1,000 each year while encouraging meaningful conversations about how families, schools, and communities can work together to prevent cyberbullying and create safer spaces for the next generation.
Madison Galloway earns the top spot for her strong commitment to combating cyberbullying. Inspired by her brother’s experience, she works with her mother’s organization, Love My Laces (@lovemylaces), to raise awareness and support others. The attorneys and staff of McCready Law are proud to offer our Cyberbullying Awareness Scholarship to dedicated students to help contribute to their educational goals. It is our goal that this scholarship helps to raise awareness about the negative impact cyberbullying has on our youth, with technology being just at hand’s reach. Each year, we award a deserving student this $1,000 scholarship award, which can best describe ways in which the community, schools, and family members can help prevent cyberbullying and put an end to it.

Each year high school seniors look forward to their final year of high school and hope to make the most of it. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the school year was drastically cut short for students across the globe, making them miss out on lasting memories. Although the school year ended sooner than expected, the attorneys at McCready Law celebrated high school seniors’ achievements by awarding members of the class of 2020 each with a $100 gift card through our Class of 2020 Nomination. It was our hope that this nomination helped to begin these individuals’ college careers off on the right foot. Since opening McCready Law’s Chicago doors, one of our favorite spring traditions has been watching the annual South Side Irish Parade each year. As proud members of the Chicago community, we are looking forward to sponsoring and participating in the 2026 South Side Irish Parade with our very own float. We were thrilled to be sponsors of the Midnight Circus in the Parks performance in September 2018! This organization believes that community involvement lays the foundation to building long-term success with positive impacts through their performances, and the proceeds from this event directly benefited Chicago parks programs. The Midnight Circus in the Parks performers have collaboratively raised nearly one million dollars for our local park programs.
