With over a decade of experience in the legal field, Rodney brings relentless persistence and a strong sense of justice to every case he touches. He began his career as a legal assistant, but after three years, made the transition to paralegal so he could be more involved in the cases and make a bigger difference for clients.

Rodney often works closely with many of our workers’ compensation clients. He’s meticulous in reviewing records, uncovering details others might miss, and building the strongest case possible. Rodney believes insurance companies don’t play fair—and he’s made it his mission to level the playing field for his clients. His goal? To make insurance companies so familiar with his name that they know they can’t cut corners or delay a claim.

Clients appreciate Rodney’s clear communication and hands-on approach. He handles the paperwork, deals directly with the insurance adjusters, and helps coordinate treatment plans. And most importantly, he explains every step of the process so you always know what’s happening and why.

His philosophy is simple: You focus on healing. He’ll take care of the rest.

Rodney attended McKendree University, where he majored in history and was captain of the nationally-ranked debate team for two years. He was also a coach for the 2020 McKendree debate team that won a national championship. He uses the research and communication skills honed there to provide support to the Burger Law team and to help our clients. Rodney also contributes to the Burger Law social media presence and online correspondence.

Outside of work, he loves spending time with his family, smoking a good cigar, and watching sports. A native of Daytona, Florida, he actually loves NASCAR and keeps up with the races.
