As a Case Manager, Sarah Walstra helps clients navigate some of the toughest times in their lives with care, understanding, and attention to detail. She is constantly in touch with our clients, advancing cases, meeting deadlines, and keeping clients informed. Her approach is efficient, compassionate, and highly organized.

Sarah had many years of experience before joining our team. She worked as a paralegal in two other firms where she supported a team of attorneys across a wide range of legal areas, including Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation, Estate Planning, and more. She also worked in office management, coordinating hearings, client meetings, and conferences alongside attorneys. She prepared various legal documents, including pleadings and corporate records. In that role, Sarah contributed significantly to Probate, Family, and Agricultural law cases, as well as preparing and submitting financial reports to the State Board of Accounts for client organizations.

Prior to her legal career, Sarah managed multiple departments at Walmart, where she developed sharp leadership, financial oversight, and customer service skills—experience that now informs her client-first mindset in the legal field.

Outside of work, she is a talented artist. She loves to paint and draw, often asking her son for inspiration. She loves capturing the beauty in real life and the ordinary, like bringing the facades of local architecture to life as well as creating custom, hand-painted items such as shoes. As a plant lover, (she has more than 20 houseplants!), Sarah is also inspired by her plants to create botanical and nature-themed artwork.

She also loves hiking and camping, especially with her son. One of their goals is to visit all of Indiana’s State Parks!
