Based both remotely and in the Beverly office when and if needed. Dericka is often the first voice clients hear when they call. She handles a high volume of calls each day, guiding clients to the right case managers or attorneys and ensuring their needs are met quickly and with care. Whether over the phone, on Zoom, or through Teams, Dericka is known for her efficiency and her ability to connect people with the support they need, especially on difficult days.
Before joining the firm, Dericka worked in case management at the Community and Economic Development Association (CEDA) for the PIPP team, where she also served as a team lead for the escalations team. There, she assisted clients—many of them elderly—by working with utility companies to set up or transfer services and secure essential resources like gas and electricity. Her background in community support shaped her belief that kindness is essential and that helping others can make all the difference.
Dericka is eager to continue growing her career in the legal field, with the goal of moving up the ladder and expanding her ability to support clients. Compassionate, hardworking, and driven, she brings the same dedication to her work at the firm that she has shown throughout her career: making sure people feel supported and cared for.
In her free time, Dericka is all about family life. A proud mom of six—ranging from young adults to a busy toddler—she spends her free time with her fiancé, kids, and two dogs: Bentley the Toy Poodle and Thor the Frenchie. She’s a self-proclaimed homebody who loves working out in her home gym, reading suspenseful horror novels, and singing—whether at church, at weddings, or just encouraging her daughter, who shares her love of music.
Holidays are a big deal in her house, too. Christmas is her favorite, but she goes all out for Halloween, decking out the house with themed decorations right down to the pillows and bathrooms.
“Nothing is constant, but change.”
