Luis is one of the firm’s Loan Coordinators. He coordinates pre-settlement funding to help our clients access financial support while their cases are pending. He works closely with loan companies, case managers, and our attorneys to make sure all the necessary information to secure a loan is provided accurately and efficiently. His goal is to minimize financial stress for clients by helping them receive funds quickly and responsibly. This way, they can keep bills paid and peace of mind intact during the legal process.

Before joining the firm, Luis worked in Brazil’s financial sector, managing debt portfolios for major banks and handling debt consolidation transactions. This experience gave him a strong understanding of financial systems, risk management, and client advocacy. In addition to his financial expertise, Luis is also a licensed attorney in Brazil with prior experience defending clients in criminal cases. These are skills that now help him balance diligence, fairness, and strategy in his work with us.

Luis earned his Law Degree from FAAP — Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado, where he remains a registered attorney. Known for his energy and resourcefulness, Luis excels at quick problem-solving and has a strong commitment to helping clients through tough situations.

Working from Brazil, Luis continues to be a vital link between the firm’s legal and financial operations, ensuring clients receive both the practical support and professional care they need throughout their recovery.

Outside of work, Luis is passionate about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he’s quickly climbing the ranks through both competition and community involvement. Though he’s not much of a soccer fan, he’s found the perfect outlet for discipline and teamwork on the mat. When he’s not training, Luis enjoys playing classical and acoustic guitar at home.
