BIO

Clay Musial is an associate attorney at the firm. A proud Illinois native from Elgin, he moved to Houston for college, where he earned dual bachelor’s degrees in English and Environmental Science from Rice University in 2019. He then attended the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in December 2023. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in May 2024 and quickly joined McCready Law to begin making a difference.

Bringing his passion for advocacy and problem-solving to every case, Clay focuses his practice on helping clients navigate challenging personal injury matters with empathy and determination. Whether he’s advocating in court, negotiating settlements, or preparing briefs, he is committed to securing the best possible outcomes for those who have endured pain and hardship. His approach to law is rooted in a genuine desire to support others, using his skills in writing, argument, and legal strategy to help clients get the compensation and support they deserve.

His days at the firm are busy and fulfilling, often starting with court appearances and continuing with client communications, legal filings, and collaboration with the McCready Law team. He values the firm’s supportive culture and the opportunity to tackle complex cases. No two days are ever the same.

Outside of work, Clay enjoys running every day, a habit left over from his collegiate career as a cross-country and track athlete. He also loves exploring the outdoors, with hiking in Switzerland ranking among his favorite experiences. When he’s not on the move, he’s a big movie fan. He loves classics like “The Shawshank Redemption” and “The Big Lebowski,” as well as childhood favorites like the Toy Story movies. Clay also loves to read and play video games, so if you need any recommendations, feel free to reach out.

Clay lives in Chicago with his brother, who is also studying law.
