Elliot is our meticulous and dedicated Bookkeeper. He does a great job taking care of all the different financial tasks to keep things running smoothly, approaching every task with care, knowing his work supports both the firm and its clients. He records and deposits all incoming checks, organizes all our bank transactions, helps with monthly financial reviews, and helps to manage payroll using QuickBooks. He keeps all the financial details accurate and current. Plus, he takes care of check deposits for clients behind the scenes — so when your settlement check clears, you have him to thank.
With a degree in History, Elliot’s knack for remembering dates, names, and intricate details made him naturally detail-oriented—an invaluable trait in finance. He honed his skills as a Business Operations Specialist at a compostable packaging and label company before joining us at McCready Law.
Elliot enjoys the rhythm of his role and finds satisfaction in contributing to the firm’s mission of helping people. He says that every day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and support a team committed to delivering positive outcomes for their clients.
Born in New Jersey, Elliot moved to Evanston in 2012 and quickly fell in love with the energy of city life. Sometimes he thinks about the beautiful mountains from his childhood, but he really enjoys the variety of cultures in Chicago, the amazing food options, and the wide stretch of Lake Michigan—a small ocean where he can swim and paddleboard when he has some free time.
When he’s not working, you might find Elliot exploring Chicago’s renowned museums. He has a special fondness for the Art Institute’s captivating collections and the Field Museum, home to the famous Sue the T. rex—the most complete T. rex fossil in the world. Plus, as a self-proclaimed fan of cooking shows like Chopped, Elliot enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, though he’s quick to admit he’s not opening a restaurant anytime soon.
As a history enthusiast Elliot dreams of visiting London to explore the British Museum and marvel at treasures like the Elgin Marbles. Until then, he continues to indulge his passion for history and culture right here in the rich environment of Chicago.
