Jakub Banaszak brings extensive trial, mediation, and arbitration experience to McCready Law. He has also helped secure multiple eight-figure settlements in significant civil rights cases.

Born in Warsaw, Poland, Jakub moved to the Chicago suburbs at the age of five and has called the area home ever since. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign before attending Loyola University Chicago School of Law. During law school, he received three CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for earning the highest grade in Advocacy, Sales, and Remedies.

After passing the Illinois Bar, Jakub immediately began representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters throughout the Chicago area. His practice has included a wide range of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, workers’ compensation claims, construction accidents, wrongful death actions, premises liability cases, and nursing home abuse matters.

Before joining McCready Law, Jakub spent six years with a Texas-based law firm, representing clients nationwide in personal injury, civil rights, and mass tort litigation. His diverse experience and dedication to client advocacy have earned him a reputation as a passionate and effective advocate for those seeking justice.

Jakub lives in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago with his wife, their three children, Julia, Gavin, and Maisie, and their two dogs, Phoebe and Ursula. Outside the office, he enjoys cheering on his favorite Chicago teams, including the White Sox, Bears, and Bulls, and taking road trips with his family across the country.
