Jon is one of our litigation attorneys, which means that you’ll often see him in court, in deposition meetings, and working behind the scenes on calls to advocate for your best
outcome. His favorite part of his job is getting to know his clients and helping them during a tough period of their lives.
After growing up in Wisconsin, Jon’s family moved to New Jersey via Berlin, Germany and he stayed in the area for his undergraduate years, studying history at Princeton University.
After graduation, he moved to San Jose, California to participate in City Year, a program for aspiring teachers. Jon taught elementary school while participating and, although he decided that teaching wasn’t for him, still walked away from his time in San Jose with a great outcome: he met his fiancé.
As she was a native of Chicago, the pair moved here shortly after and Jon began thinking about where he would like his career to take him. After enrolling in Loyola University Law
School (go Ramblers!), he began working as a paralegal and law clerk for various firms in the area, including in the personal injury space. Jon worked briefly on the defense side of things for hospitals, but knew it wasn’t a good fit for him. He preferred working directly with clients because he liked helping people and seeing great outcomes.
When he’s not working, Jon enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He’s a big foodie and loves Korean & Mexican food, as well as a good burger. He plays soccer, often hosts board game nights, never misses a Packers game, and enjoys settling down for the evening for a good crime drama or chick flick. Although Jon and his fiancé are big cat people, they don’t have any pets… yet.
