With a career foundation in the medical field, Kelly brings a unique blend of expertise and compassion to her role as a Senior Case Manager here at McCready Law. Her background includes working as an emergency room HUC (Unit Clerk), a certified medical transcriptionist, and a diagnostic scheduler. These jobs helped her learn about medical terms and taking care of patients. This understanding easily moved into her work in personal injury law, where she still sees her clients as patients and gives them the same care and attention. Before joining McCready Law, Kelly spent five years running a personal injury department at another law firm.
In her role with us, Kelly believes in building personal relationships by introducing herself to new clients and checking in with them regularly, even during tough times like negotiations or court. In the mornings, she makes it a point to return calls and answer emails quickly, so our clients never feel ignored. Kelly helps clients understand their treatment options, schedule appointments, and manage the complicated journey of recovering after an accident. Her commitment to personal communication and caring attitude make her a reliable support for clients.
Her favorite part of this role is being a comforting and friendly voice for our clients during a stressful time in their lives. Having experienced a car accident herself, she understands the life-altering challenges that come with recovery, from dealing with insurance to balancing medical and work commitments. This personal connection fuels her commitment to making each client feel heard, supported, and cared for.
Kelly grew up in the cornfields of Indiana, just south of Chicago, and still calls Indiana home. When she’s not at work, she enjoys sunny days at the beach, where she writes and relaxes to the soothing sound of the waves. A lifelong reader and storyteller, Kelly is publishing her first children’s book, “Olive the Owl,” a heartwarming tale about kindness and finding home. Family is central to Kelly’s life. She shares her home with her husband and has four amazing adult daughters.
Kelly also loves attending concerts, with Noah Kahan and REO Speedwagon topping her list of favorites. She cherishes moments spent listening to music with her daughters and values the joy of shared experiences. For Kelly, anywhere with a beach and the sound of waves is her happy place. Her combination of empathy, expertise, and a touch of creativity makes her an invaluable part of our team.
