Liza is one of our dedicated Case Managers. She serves as an advocate and guide for clients throughout their medical treatment journeys. She helps to build strong cases by meticulously tracking our clients’ treatment details, communicating with insurance providers and medical offices, and making sure clients stay informed and supported at each step of the process. Liza’s goal is to keep cases moving smoothly, so no client falls through the cracks, while still helping attorneys prepare cases for settlement or trial.

Before joining our team, Liza also worked as a personal injury case manager at another Chicago firm. In her role, she handled both mass tort and single-event cases. She also worked in different call centers, gaining hands-on expertise with medical treatments and billing. Her strong background in the field and commitment to advocacy help her easily navigate the complexities of personal injury cases for our clients.

She always says all the work she does is for the benefit of others. It’s why she comes to work every day. She is the advocate she wished she had during her own personal injury journey. Years ago, Liza and her mother were traveling to the airport in the midst of a family emergency. Time was of the essence, and the last-minute flight was leaving soon. Then the worst happened — another car rear-ended them going 65 mph!

This car accident turned Liza’s world upside down. So when she is helping clients through their own storm, she really does understand. She approaches her work with empathy and a deep understanding of what her clients are going through.

Her strong academic background and experiences have also inspired her to pursue a career in law. She is currently studying for the LSAT to fulfill her dream and will soon apply to law school.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Liza continues to call the island home, where she enjoys a vibrant and creative lifestyle. In her free time, she expresses her artistic talents through hyper realistic pencil sketches and watercolors, often drawing inspiration from nature and personal growth. Liza also loves gardening, cooking, and caring for her two dogs, Pablo and Arya, and three cats, who are like family to her.
