Lucy is a Settlement Paralegal at McCready Law. She has been working in personal injury since 2016 and has a real passion for advocating on behalf of her clients. Her journey began as an orthopedic medical assistant specializing in personal injury cases, where she developed a comprehensive understanding of the medical side of personal injury claims. Connecting with attorneys and paralegals on behalf of patients sparked her interest in the legal side, and she hasn’t looked back. Lucy’s combined skills help her look at cases from all angles, making sure her clients get the fairness and compensation they deserve. 

Lucy handles a high volume of emails and calls daily, leveraging McCready Law’s strong reputation with local doctors to advocate for her clients. She works tirelessly to secure fair settlements, aiming to compensate clients for lost work, personal time, and more. Lucy helps lower medical bills by negotiating wisely under Illinois law. She prepares clear settlement sheets that show clients exactly how their bills, any discounts, and final payments are organized. Her careful attention to detail makes sure every dollar is considered, helping her clients get the best results.

Lucy cares a lot about her clients. Even though our firm represents the injured, she feels happy when they start to feel better and when she helps them save money on their medical bills. Lucy works hard to teach her clients about their rights and makes sure they know they are well cared for and will be alright.

In her free time, Lucy’s adventurous side shines. She’s an avid hiker and off-roader, often exploring trails in her Jeep Wrangler and climbing mountains. Recently, she became a cycling instructor and has even completed eight 5K foot races this year, with a marathon hopefully on her horizon. Lucy also loves to travel, frequenting warm, sunny destinations like the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. She also visits Orlando monthly to spend time with her beloved nephews, whom she calls her world. 

Whether she’s hiking with her adventurous boyfriend or revisiting her favorite “Grey’s Anatomy” filming locations in Seattle, Lucy lives life with enthusiasm and purpose. She brings this positivity and determination to her role at McCready Law, ensuring our clients feel supported every step of the way.
