Martha Konovodoff is a dedicated personal injury attorney whose work is grounded in compassion, clear communication, and a deep commitment to helping clients reclaim stability after life-altering events. Recently licensed and already an invaluable part of our team, Martha first joined the firm as a Law Clerk in March 2025.

A Chicago-area native, Martha graduated early from Marquette University with a degree in Criminology and Law Studies and a minor in English. While at Marquette, she balanced academic excellence with a competitive athletic career on the university’s volleyball team—traveling to places like Europe and Hawaii, meeting people from all backgrounds, and developing the resilience, teamwork, and strategic thinking she brings into her legal practice today. A lifelong athlete, she remains active in recreational and beach volleyball leagues, loves women’s sports (especially NCAA volleyball), and can often be found running or exploring the city’s dog parks with her dachshund, Dean. If you’re lucky enough, he might be a guest star in your meetings with Martha.

Martha’s passion for the law started early—fueled by crime shows like Law & Order and NCIS—but was cemented during her first legal internship as a one-on-one assistant to an attorney. From there, she pursued hands-on experience across several practice areas, including family law and workers’ compensation defense, before returning to plaintiff-side personal injury, where she feels most fulfilled helping everyday people navigate difficult circumstances. She has a strong interest in the medical side of injury cases, enjoys reviewing records, and believes in truly listening to clients so she can understand the full story behind their needs.

During law school, Martha also served in a Pro Bono Civil Litigation Clinic, assisting with record sealing and expungements—work she found deeply meaningful because of its immediate impact on clients’ lives. She was active in the Student Bar Association throughout her first two years and served as the Chicago Bar Association representative during her 3L year.

Martha is known to thrive in fast-paced environments, pivot easily, and bring a steady, empathetic presence to every case. Whether she’s guiding someone through the aftermath of an accident or working through complex medical records, Martha’s goal is always the same: to listen, to act, and to help clients feel seen, supported, and confident in the path forward.
