Nicholas “Nick” Sandercock received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania before earning his Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law. Since becoming licensed, Nick has focused his career on complex litigation, with substantial experience handling high-exposure medical malpractice and catastrophic injury matters on both the defense and plaintiff sides.
Throughout his career, Nick has managed cases from intake through resolution, including case evaluation, expert coordination, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation. He has extensive experience preparing complex matters for trial. Before joining McCready Law, Nick helped build and oversee a national medical malpractice division representing individuals and families in complex healthcare negligence cases. His experience on both sides of the litigation process provides him with a broad perspective on case strategy, risk evaluation, and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
Nick recently relocated to the Chicago North Shore Suburb of Lake Bluff with his wife, Lucy, and daughter, Olivia, who is a Teaching Fellow at Elon University in North Carolina. Now empty nesters, Nick and Lucy enjoy all of the outdoor adventures the North Shore has to offer and caring for their “zoo” which includes: a miniature golden doodle (Duke), the world’s laziest Australian Shepard (Bonnie), a domesticated bobcat (Louise), the world’s cutest cat (Ginny, Louise’s sister), a Horse (Heidi), and their chickens (Cecilia, Gloria, Margarita, Rosalia, and Josefina).
Nick is passionate about advocating for individuals and families navigating some of the most difficult moments of their lives. He approaches every case with a trial-ready mindset focused on preparation, communication, and results.
His practice focuses on medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and other complex personal injury matters.
