Charities we support – Corrine’s Cure
At McCready, Garcia & Leet, we feel it is important to give back to the community. After all, without the community, we would be nothing. Each month we highlight an organization or group which we support, with time or money, and we encourage you to do the same. We support a wide range of groups throughout the year, some national in scope, others may involve a fundraiser for an individual in need. We encourage you to visit these organizations and join McCready, Garcia & Leet in donating.
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF’s goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, regulatory influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D.
Corrine was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was 15 months old. Each year, her family organizes “Corrine’s Cure” to raise money for a donation to JDRF in Corrine’s name.
