Police arrested a 40 year old driver who struck a moped on June 12, 2014 in the Logan Square neighborhood. The driver blew through a stop sign, striking the moped, and fleeing from the scene. The rider of the moped suffered serious spine injuries as a result of the hit and run accident. Witnesses were able to see the fleeing driver’s license plate and police arrested the man shortly thereafter.
