Daughter Lost in Car Wreck

A family was robbed of their daughter when a car accident took her life late one Saturday night.

Around 10:45PM on Saturday the 9th of February 2013, Danielle Pisterzi, 21, was driving to her family’s home from her internship with an accounting firm when her Hyundai struck an Audi SUV.

Her car hit a rail and rolled onto its roof. Pisterzi wasn’t wearing a seat belt. She was pronounced dead that night at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.

Police said no one in the Audi SUV was taken to the hospital. Pisterzi hoped to graduate from Northern Illinois University in the spring.
