A Chicago native, Nicole is happy to be home! She and her husband moved back to the city from Peoria, Illinois in the fall of 2017 and she started with us soon after.

Nicole is our Litigation Paralegal, which means that she handles all stages of litigation from when a case is first filed with the Court until the point of settlement or through the trial process. Nicole is a great asset because she is always proactive and organized, so we are thrilled to have her as a part of our team.

While Nicole already has an Associate of Paralegal Studies and more than seven years work experience in the field under her belt, she is also going to school full time in addition to working with us to earn her bachelor’s degree from Lewis University.

She enjoys working in the field of law because she likes the detective work and logic involved in the creating and building of each case. Discussions and debates are her forte, so she is always up for reexamining the law from all angles to reach the best possible solution.

A newlywed, she and her husband enjoyed an amazing honeymoon to Jamaica where they got to spend time relaxing in the sun and tasting the delicious (and spicy – Nicole’s favorite!) food there. When the weather is nice at home, the pair likes to ride motorcycles together.

She has two Pit bulls named Trinity and Indigo. Before adopting them, Nicole worked with a Pit bull rescue organization and also trained service dogs in Peoria.

She also enjoys participating in Olympic-style weight lifting competitions. With multiple meets a year, Nicole really puts in the hours at the gym to be the best she can be at her sport.
