At McCready, Garcia & Leet, we feel it is important to give back to the community. After all, without the community, we would be nothing. Each month we highlight an organization or group that we support, with time or money, and we encourage you to do the same. We support a wide range of groups throughout the year, some national in scope, others may involve a fundraiser for an individual in need. We encourage you to visit these organizations and join us in donating.
It started small, just a couple of hundred walkers to raise money for breast cancer research. But over the past 14 years, Beverly Breast Cancer Walk has blossomed into more than 10,000 walkers on Mother’s Day, raising $1 million for the latest technologies and programs for breast cancer patients.
The 3-mile walk continues through the historic Beverly Hills/Morgan Park neighborhood of Chicago each year, and they even provide trolley rides to those unable to walk. You can help make a difference by walking, sponsoring a walker or making a donation. All walk proceeds continue to support breast cancer patients and research at the nonprofit Little Company of Mary’s nationally accredited Comprehensive Breast Health Center.
