At McCready, Garcia & Leet, we feel it is important to give back to the community. After all, without the community, we would be nothing. Each month we highlight an organization or group which we support, with time or money, and we encourage you to do the same. We support a wide range of groups throughout the year, some national in scope, others may involve a fundraiser for an individual in need. We encourage you to visit these organizations and join McCready, Garcia & Leet in donating.
Maeve’s Mom and Dad, along with family and friends established the Foundation in 2005. Maeve died on July 29, 2004 as the result of a brain tumor that was diagnosed less than 36 hours before. She was only 26 months old.
The mission of Maeve’s Foundation is to assist/fund programs and hospitals to:
- Increase public awareness about the severity and prevalence of childhood brain tumors
- Aid in early detection of childhood brain tumors by increasing awareness of symptoms
- Help to find the cause and cure of childhood brain tumors through the support of medical research
- Help support families with children living with brain tumors
