Help a Teacher Gift Card Giveaway

At McCready Law, we know how hard teachers work to shape the lives of students in our community and all across our nation. Yet, teachers often don’t get the appreciation they deserve for their work, let alone the time, money and effort they put into ensuring that their classrooms and students are fully equipped with the supplies and resources they need for a successful school year. In fact, every year, teachers spend hundreds of dollars of their own money on supplies for their classrooms, most of which they do not get reimbursed for.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers had to work tirelessly and effortlessly to keep their students engaged in their schoolwork as well as interacting with other students virtually. That is why we asked members in our Chicago community to recognize incredible teachers through our Help a Teacher Gift Card Giveaway! We awarded local teachers each with a $100 gift card to be used towards expenses related to school supplies or helping to keep their students engaged virtually through online learning programs. We wanted to make sure that not only our teachers, but also students in our community had everything they needed to succeed in the classroom or virtually during an uncertain time.
